Aashiqui star Rahul Roy has addressed social media chatter surrounding his recent appearances in reels with a content creator. In a statement on Instagram, he clarified that he is not 'abandoned' and is being cared for by his family.

Roy shared photos with his sister Priyanka Roy and brother-in-law Romeer Sen, stating that he is safe and well taken care of. He also addressed his decision to live with his sister, saying it's his personal choice and that he has everything he needs.

Roy went on to explain that he prefers to keep a low profile and doesn't take bodyguards or seek financial help. He emphasized that his decisions are his own and that he cannot waste his time waiting for good work to come along.

The actor's statement comes after several reels featuring him with a content creator surfaced online, sparking concern and ridicule from social media users. Roy has since made a full recovery from a brain stroke in 2020 and has been open about his struggles in the entertainment industry.
