The ongoing US-Israel and Iran war has entered its fourth week with no signs of ending. Tensions escalated after President Donald Trump issued a warning to Iran demanding it resume traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial oil trade route.

Iran responded by warning that it would target US and Israeli infrastructure in the region if its own is attacked. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian issued a statement saying the Strait of Hormuz will remain open to all except those targeting Iran.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Pezeshkian, expressing concern over recent attacks targeting key infrastructure in the region and stressing the need to ensure the uninterrupted movement of global trade.

Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that if Iran's power plants and infrastructure are targeted, then vital infrastructure across the region would be considered legitimate targets and 'irreversibly destroyed.'
