Thousands of League of Legends gamers faced issues on June 23, with many taking to social media to complain to Riot Games. Over 6,000 gamers reported problems with the multiplayer online battle arena game, with some experiencing a black screen and others unable to load the client.

A cause for the outage is not yet known, but users are reporting server connection issues and missing client features. Riot Games has not issued a statement on the matter, but users are advised to force-close background processes, run the client as an Administrator, or check for scheduled maintenance.

However, given the widespread nature of the issue, user-end fixes are unlikely to resolve the problem, suggesting a server-side issue that needs addressing.
