The Israeli military has discovered and destroyed a large Hezbollah tunnel network used by elite fighters in south Lebanon.

The network, which stretched two kilometers and was constructed over a decade, was found in Qantara and used over 450 tonnes of explosives to demolish it.

The tunnels were equipped with sleeping quarters, showers, toilets, kitchenettes, and five assembly halls, indicating it was designed, sponsored, and paid for by Iran.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue targeting Hezbollah's infrastructure, despite a shaky ceasefire in place since April 17.

One person was killed and 15 were hurt in an Israeli strike on Jwaya, and a fresh evacuation order was issued for residents in over a dozen villages and towns.
