A professional cornhole athlete, Dayton James Webber, has been accused of fatally shooting a 27-year-old man over an argument while driving a car in Maryland.

Webber, a quadruple amputee, is facing murder charges for the fatal shooting of Bradrick Michael Wells.

The incident occurred on Sunday night during an argument between Webber and Wells, who was seated in the front passenger seat of a Tesla SUV.

According to police, Webber allegedly fatally shot Wells and then drove away with the body still in the car.

The body was later found at a yard on Newport Church Road in Charlotte Hall, Maryland.

Webber, 27, is a professional cornhole athlete who has competed in the American Cornhole League (ACL) and has made significant money winning prizes and sponsorship in his eight-year pro career.

He became the first quadruple amputee to compete professionally in the ACL in 2022 and has appeared on several media events, including ESPN.
