Kimmel had made the comment during his show on Thursday evening, ridiculing the White House Correspondents' Dinner and saying 'Our first lady, Melania, is here. Look at Melania, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.'
Melania Trump has harshly condemned Kimmel, labeling him a 'coward' who 'hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him.'
The First Lady said Kimmel's words are 'corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America' and called on ABC to take a stand against his behavior.
