US Air Force General William McCasland, 68, has gone missing from his New Mexico home, sparking intense speculation among UFO enthusiasts.
McCasland, a renowned UFO expert, was last seen on February 27, and his disappearance has raised eyebrows due to his involvement in top-secret space research projects.
According to Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen, McCasland's wife reported him missing after finding his phone at their residence, which is unusual for him.
The investigation has been hindered by the discovery of a sweatshirt found 1.25 miles away from his house, but family members have not confirmed it belonged to McCasland.
McCasland's past roles include serving as Commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory, Chief Engineer at the Air Force's Navstar GPS Joint Program Office, and System Program Director for the Space Based Laser Project Office.
The circumstances surrounding his disappearance have sparked wild speculations, including the possibility of a connection to extraterrestrial life.
