Uncertainty looms over the future of West Asia tensions as the US and Iran refuse to come to terms on possible negotiations.

The US has reportedly delivered a 15-point ceasefire proposal to Iran, which includes a one-month ceasefire, ending Iran's nuclear weapons capability, and ensuring the Strait of Hormuz remains open.

In return for accepting these demands, the Trump administration has offered to lift sanctions on Iran and support its civilian nuclear programme.

However, Iran has rejected the proposal and listed its own five conditions for ending the war, including a complete halt to "aggression and assassinations" by the enemy and guaranteed payment of war damages and reparations.

The US President has threatened to "unleash hell" if Iran does not accept a deal to end the war, while Iran's ambassador to Pakistan has denied any direct or indirect negotiations between the two countries.
