Tipra Motha Party : Calls for Bandh on September 30th to Demand Greater Tipraland

In a special meeting held on Friday Tipra Motha Party (TMP) announced a significant bandh scheduled for September 30th. The bandh, according to TMP leaders, is not just intended to disrupt roadways but to draw attention to the plight of the public in the region. The party sees this bandh as a powerful statement echoing their rights and the challenges they face in their quest to reach Delhi. 

TTAADC CEM Purna Chandra Jamatia conveyed this message through social media, urging all TIPRASA community members to unite for a day in support of the cause keeping in mind the interests of future generations.

The demand for Greater Tipraland is at the heart of this bandh, which aims to bring the issue to the forefront of public awareness. TMP's founding members including Maharaja Pradyot Bikram Kishore Manikya Debbarma, Bijoy Kumar Hrangkhawl, Animesh Debabrma, Paul Dangshu, Ranjit Debbarma and others including EMs, MDCs,MLAs were present at the program to lend their support to the cause.

The bandh while disruptive is viewed by TMP as a necessary step to assert their demands and highlight the challenges faced by the people of Tipraland. TMP encourages everyone to support and participate in the bandh at their nearest picketing spot on the day, which is tomorrow to collectively voice their aspirations for Greater Tipraland.

As the day approaches the TIPRASA community eagerly awaits the outcome of this bandh hoping it will contribute to their cause of achieving Greater Tipraland and a brighter future for the region.
