He urged people to vote out the government in the upcoming Assembly polls, calling it an election to 'save Bihar' rather than just change the government. Khemka was shot dead outside his Patna home, and his murder has sparked concerns about the state's law and order situation. The Opposition has also targeted the Nitish Kumar government, citing the lack of progress in the probe and the increasing number of crimes in the state. In response, the Chief Minister's Office has said that Nitish Kumar has asked officials to expedite the investigation and warned of strict action against police personnel in case of negligence.
