ECB Bans Transgender Females from Women's Cricket

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has banned transgender females from participating in women's and girls' cricket, effective immediately. This decision follows a UK Supreme Court ruling defining "woman" based on biological sex.
Transgender females were previously allowed in tier three domestic women's games and recreational cricket but are now excluded from all levels. The ECB's decision aligns with similar moves by other sports bodies, including the English Football Association and England Netball.
Transgender women and girls can still play in open and mixed cricket, with the ECB emphasizing its commitment to respect and inclusivity in the sport.
