Actor Anita Kanwal, known for her work in TV shows like Sonpari and Sasural Genda Phool, has spoken out about her struggles with rejection in the industry. Despite working for decades, she continues to audition but feels like no one appreciates her work anymore.

At 62, Anita has been out of work for eight years and has started to question her purpose in life. She recalls her successful past, working on 13 shows simultaneously, but now feels like she's being forgotten.

Anita wonders why actors like Meryl Streep continue to get roles at 76, while she struggles to find opportunities in India. She admits to feeling useless and has even prayed to God to take her away if she's no longer needed.

Anita made her acting debut in 1991 with Chanakya and has since appeared in numerous TV shows and films, including Mujhse Dosti Karoge! and Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa.
