Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has listed reasons why negotiations with the US have stalled, citing the ongoing naval blockade of Iranian ports and the world's perception of the US's 'endless hypocritical rhetoric.'

Pezeshkian pointed to three main obstacles: breach of commitments, blockade, and threats. He emphasized that Iran was never opposed to dialogue and agreement.

The US had put negotiations on hold after President Donald Trump extended the ceasefire, citing the need for Iran to come up with a unified proposal.

However, threats from both sides continue, with Iran seizing three ships and the US maintaining its naval blockade near the Strait of Hormuz.

The White House has clarified that President Trump has not set a deadline for the Iranian proposal, with the timeline to be determined by the President himself.
