White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is set to take maternity leave, and while she hasn't shared an official timeline for her return, rumors are swirling about who could temporarily replace her. Leavitt, who is expecting her second child, made the announcement during a recent press briefing, joking with reporters about how they would still be able to get information without her.
According to The Mirror US, the White House plans to rotate different individuals to fulfill Leavitt's responsibilities while she's away, with no official replacement appointed. Leavitt's team, which includes several deputy and assistant press secretaries, will support Steven Cheung, the communications director and White House aide.
