A shooting at the 2000 block of East 12th Street in East Austin, Texas, has resulted in multiple injuries, according to CBS Austin. The incident occurred on Sunday, and the Austin Police Department is investigating.
As per officials, they responded to a shooting with multiple shots fired. Currently, there is no threat to the public, and it is not an active shooter situation, officials said.
The incident took place between Chicon and Alamo streets, in front of Sam's BBQ, a beloved local joint. The number of injured is reportedly 2 people, though there's no official confirmation.
The suspect is believed to have fled in a vehicle, and investigators are following a lead to identify the suspect.
