Islamabad, Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi traveled to Tehran for the second time within a week to discuss US-Iran peace talks with Iranian leaders. Naqvi's visit comes as Islamabad continues to lead mediation efforts between Washington and Tehran.
During his last visit, Naqvi met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, and Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni.
US Vice President JD Vance has expressed optimism about the talks, stating, 'We're in a pretty good spot here.' However, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi warned that a 'return to war will feature many more surprises.'
The US has offered a deadline for resuming strikes if a deal is not agreed, while Iranian officials have issued warnings about the consequences of further attacks.
