A bizarre incident in Fredericksburg, Virginia, has left residents on edge after a person in a pink costume was accused of 'chasing' local school kids in broad daylight.
According to reports, the person, dressed in a cartoonish Pink Panther-like costume, was seen following children in the Lafayette Boulevard corridor last week.
A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, showing the person prowling along the grassy roadside near the Lafayette Boulevard corridor.
The Fredericksburg Police Department is now searching for the suspect, who is described as wearing a pink costume and having a tan complexion with facial hair.
