A tornado was confirmed in Archer County, Texas on Saturday afternoon, prompting severe weather warnings and photos from storm chasers.
The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a tornado warning for Archer County and Clay County in Texas, valid until 7:30 PM CDT Saturday, along with thunderstorms and up to two inches of hail possible.
Other North Texas counties, such as Dallas, Collin, Denton, Grayson and Tarrant, were placed under a potential tornado warning till 11:00pm.
The NWS update stated, 'A Tornado Watch is now in effect for much of North Texas until 11 PM tonight,' warning of potential hail, strong tornadoes, and damaging winds.
