President Donald Trump has lashed out at The Wall Street Journal's Elliot Kaufman for writing an op-ed titled 'The Iranians Take Trump for a Sucker'. Trump called Kaufman an 'IDIOT' and accused the WSJ of losing its way.
Kaufman's op-ed questioned Trump's strategy towards Iran, stating that the US President has given up leverage in exchange for nothing. Trump fired back, claiming that under his leadership, Iran's Navy is at the bottom of the sea, their Air Force is gone, and their nuclear labs were destroyed.
Trump also criticized former President Barack Obama for giving Iran $1.7 billion in cash and hundreds of billions of dollars to help them develop a nuclear bomb. Trump accused other Presidents of doing nothing to stop Iran, calling it a 'BLIGHT on the Office of the Presidency'.
