Andrew Hugg, a US Army nuclear scientist, has been placed on leave after an alleged sting video surfaced, showing him sharing sensitive information with an unauthorized individual.

The video, published by investigative journalist James O'Keefe, includes claims of a US Army chemist being exposed to a chemical nerve agent, US strikes in Iran killing children, and potential plans to assassinate Mojtaba Khamenei.

While the authenticity of the video remains unverified, O'Keefe reports that Hugg was escorted out of the Pentagon and placed on administrative leave.

A spokesperson for War Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed the leave, but the Pentagon has yet to confirm the incident.

Far-right content creator Eric Daugherty suggests that Hugg could face criminal action for the alleged information leak.
