The Apple MacBook Neo marks the return of a truly affordable laptop to Apple Inc.'s portfolio, priced at $599 or ₹69,900 onwards.

The laptop is available in two variants with 256GB and 512GB storage, powered by the A18 Pro chip, which also powers the iPhone 16 Pro series.

The MacBook Neo features a 13-inch Liquid Retina display, up to 16 hours battery life, and a fanless design weighing just 1.22kg.

Apple claims the laptop will be up to 50% faster than the bestselling PC with the latest shipping Intel Core Ultra 5, and up to 3x faster for on-device AI workloads.

The MacBook Neo will be available in Silver, Blush, Citrus, and Indigo colors, and is expected to compete with mid-range Windows 11 laptops, Google Chromebooks, and Android tablets.
