India's stock market opened higher today despite concerns over a US–Iran ceasefire. The Sensex rose 1.13% to 77,501.40 points, while the Nifty 50 reclaimed 24,000 levels.
Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. fell after fourth-quarter earnings, while 13 out of 15 sectoral indices compiled by the NSE fell, led by Nifty IT.
TCS closed FY26 with a modest recovery in quarterly growth, but not enough to offset a broader slowdown that pushed it into its first full-year revenue decline in dollar terms since listing.
