Abono twiwi Social Media Minister Bikash Debbarma swikha- I am pleased to share that Tripura has become the first State in India to introduce the empanelment of private B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. institutions under the Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students scheme an important reform aimed at ensuring greater transparency, accountability, and access to quality teacher education for our tribal students.
Today, I chaired a review meeting with the officials of the Tribal Welfare Department, Govt. of Tripura and the representatives of the empanelled institutions to discuss the effective implementation of this landmark initiative for the Academic Session 2026–27. The meeting focused on institutional responsibilities, compliance with the prescribed guidelines, and ensuring the seamless execution of the scheme in the best interest of the students.
