Actor Aamir Khan has finally addressed the ongoing feud with his brother Faissal, who has accused him of several transgressions, including confining him under house arrest and sabotaging his career. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Aamir expressed his reluctance to engage in a family dispute, stating, 'You can fight the world, but how can you fight your own family?' Aamir, who starred alongside Faissal in the 2000 film Mela, acknowledged the film's failure and its impact on the family. He said, 'Every film I do means a lot to me, and the failure of Mela definitely made a difference to me. It was hard on Faissal, but it was hard on me as well.' The feud between the Khan brothers gained attention last year, with Faissal accusing Aamir of having an affair with journalist Jessica Hines while still married. He also claimed that Aamir had fathered a child with Hines. In response to Faissal's allegations, Aamir's family released a statement expressing their distress over what they described as 'hurtful and misleading' portrayals of family members. Aamir's comments come as a response to Faissal's claims, and it remains unclear whether the two brothers will reconcile. The family's statement last year emphasized that every decision regarding Faissal was taken collectively and with the best interests of his emotional and psychological wellbeing in mind.
