The film's makers had initially planned for an April release but pushed it back by a few weeks. The release date confirmation was announced on Instagram, where Balaji Motion Pictures shared a poster of Akshay from Bhooth Bangla, along with the release date. Interestingly, the decision to postpone the release has sparked speculation among fans and film enthusiasts. Many are speculating that the release date change is to avoid the potential impact of Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2, which is expected to release in March. The first Dhurandhar film was still doing well at the box office even after four weeks, and its sequel is expected to perform even better.
