Actor Aparshakti Khurana has been on a journey of self-discovery and growth over the last decade. With a variety of projects under his belt, he's now looking to take on a new challenge - a sports biopic. Specifically, he's keen on playing the role of Fauja Singh, the British-Indian centenarian marathon runner known as the Turbaned Tornado.

Fauja Singh's remarkable story has always fascinated Aparshakti. The centenarian started his serious running career at 89 and went on to set numerous world records for his age category, including a 5-hour 40-minute personal best.

Aparshakti, who made his acting debut with Dangal in 2016, is currently shooting his first action film and has also finished his Tamil debut. He believes that biopics, particularly those of sportsmen and musicians, are close to his heart and would love to be a part of one.
