The Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar controversy has taken a new turn with CINTAA president Poonam Dhillon voicing her thoughts on not being informed about the matter.
Ranveer had reportedly exited the Farhan Akhtar directorial and production just weeks before the film was set to go on floors, causing major financial losses to the producers.
The issue began after the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) announced a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh on May 25, 2026.
Poonam says, “I don’t know the details of the case so I don’t want to give an uninformed opinion on the case.
BN Tiwari fires back at Poonam Dhillon saying, “I had written a letter to her that if she knows Ranveer well she should mediate and solve this matter.
He adds, ”All we said is we will not work with Ranveer till he shares his version of the case, the intention is not to ban him.
We invite anyone who is willing to help solve the matter to come forward.
