In a remarkable achievement, Dhurandhar has shattered box office records by becoming the fastest Hindi film to surpass ₹500 crore in earnings. Directed by Aditya Dhar, this spy thriller starring Ranveer Singh has been on a roll since its release on December 5. The film has now reached a staggering ₹503.20 crore in just 15 days, outpacing previous record holders Jawan and Stree 2. According to box office updates shared by Jio Studios on their official X account, Dhurandhar collected ₹23.70 crore on its 15th day, solidifying its place in the history books. This feat is even more impressive when compared to other films that have achieved the ₹500 crore milestone. Pushpa 2: The Rule, a Telugu film, holds the previous record, collecting ₹552.1 crore in 11 days. Jawan, the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer, collected ₹505.95 crore in 18 days, while Stree 2 earned ₹503.25 crore in 22 days. Dhurandhar's success can be attributed to its gripping storyline, which draws inspiration from real-life events such as the 2001 Parliament attack and the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. The film offers a thrilling insight into the India-Pakistan conflict, keeping audiences engaged. With Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan in key roles, Dhurandhar has undoubtedly set a new benchmark for Hindi films.
