The actor, a self-proclaimed school dropout, revealed that his mother had always envisioned him working for the government, specifically in the railways, had he passed his SSLC exam. Now, at 71, Kamal Haasan has achieved his mother's dream. 'I wanted to call her to share the news,' he said, overwhelmed with pride. As a Rajya Sabha MP, Kamal Haasan is proud to serve the people, aligning with his lifelong goal. He also emphasized his centrist ideology, stating that his production house, Raaj Kamal Films International, supports subjects that reflect his core values. The actor's recent projects include Mani Ratnam's Thug Life and upcoming collaborations with Anbariv and Rajinikanth.
