Karan Johar Buries the Hatchet with Kartik Aaryan in 'Tu Meri Main Tera', a New Beginning for 'Dostana'

Mumbai, Filmmaker Karan Johar has finally put the past behind him and is excited to collaborate with Kartik Aaryan on their new film 'Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri'. The two had initially planned to work together on 'Dostana 2' but faced setbacks due to reported differences. However, the new film, directed by Sameer Vidwans, seems to be a fresh start for both Johar and Aaryan, who are joined by Ananya Panday in the cast. Johar expressed his joy at working with both Aaryan and Panday, calling it the beginning of a new 'Dostana'. He praised Aaryan's dedication to the film, saying, "His level of commitment blew my mind. He's very humble and brings a lot of love and commitment to the table." Johar also praised Panday, saying she has grown as an actor and he feels proud of her achievements. The filmmaker also expressed his concern about the decline of romantic films in Bollywood, saying, "I get deeply depressed when I hear there's a dearth of love stories. My foundation is associated with love stories, and I believe they're the foundation of Hindi cinema." 'Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri' is set to release on December 25.
