A recent hearing at the Delhi High Court shed light on the ongoing dispute between Karisma Kapoor and her ex-husband Sunjay Kapur's widow, Priya Kapur. Karisma's daughter, Samaira Kapur, revealed that her university fees in the United States have been unpaid for two months. Priya Kapur denied these allegations, claiming that all expenses for Karisma's children have been paid. The dispute revolves around Sunjay Kapur's estate, which his children, Samaira and Kiaan, claim is being mismanaged by Priya. The children's lawyer, Senior Advocate Mahesh Jethmalani, argued that Sunjay was responsible for covering their educational and living expenses, as per the matrimonial decree. However, Priya's lawyer, Senior Advocate Rajiv Nayar, refuted these claims. Justice Jyoti Singh urged both parties to avoid bringing such issues to court, warning that she did not want the proceedings to become 'melodramatic.' The Delhi High Court will resume hearing the matter on November 19. The case began after Sunjay Kapur's death on June 12, when Karisma's children accused Priya of forging his will. They claimed that Sunjay had assured them of their share in the estate, which they believe is missing from the final document. The case is ongoing, with both sides making serious allegations against each other.
