Kichcha Sudeepa is making headlines, but this time it's not for a movie trailer or poster launch. The Kannada action film Mark, directed by Vijay Kartikeyaa, is set for a December 25, 2025 release, and reports of the cast fees have taken center stage. While the makers have not officially confirmed the payments, sources close to the project have revealed that Sudeepa is reportedly the highest-paid member of the cast, with a figure of around Rs. 15 crore tied to his central character, Ajay Markandeya IPS. This amount includes his role as co-producer under his banner, Kichcha Creations. Other cast members, including Naveen Chandra, Vijay Kartikeyaa, and music composer Ajaneesh Loknath, are said to have earned around Rs. 2 crore, Rs. 5 crore, and Rs. 2 crore, respectively. Reportedly, Deepshika and Nishvika Naidu charged Rs. 80 lakh and Rs. 70 lakh, respectively. The film is being touted as a spiritual successor to Max (2024), which performed well at the box office and re-established Sudeepa in the mass-action space. Mark follows the story of a suspended Superintendent of Police, Ajay Markandeya, who takes on the system after being confronted with corruption. While the cast fees have been widely reported, none of it has been officially confirmed by the actor or the production team. As the highly anticipated movie gears up for its Christmas release, fans are eagerly waiting to see if the numbers add up to the hype surrounding Mark.
