Malaika Arora has learned to deal with the toxic nature of the internet by drawing boundaries and not consuming every opinion about her. In an interview, she revealed that she has come to realise that the internet is loud, but not always wise, and that she has learned to detach herself from negativity online.

She explained that she has learned to create boundaries and not internalise every opinion, instead focusing on real life, her work, her loved ones, her routines, and the things that nourish her. This has helped her stay grounded and focused on what truly matters.

Malaika also shared that it was not always the case, and that the wisdom to deal with it has come with age. She admitted that she used to react to every passing noise, but now understands that criticism often says more about the person throwing it than the person receiving it.

She also talked about embracing who she is without apologising for it, a confidence that came after years of battling self-doubt and confusion. Today, she genuinely enjoys being herself without editing herself to make others comfortable.

Malaika has also been building her entrepreneurial journey, launching her lifestyle accessories brand Maejoy, which celebrates individuality, confidence, and self-expression. She believes that style should feel empowering but also effortless, and focuses on strong silhouettes, thoughtful details, and versatility.
