Punjabi singer Jasbir Jassi has taken a sharp dig at Honey Singh over his recent meeting with BJP leader Tarun Chugh to discuss Punjab's rising drug menace.
Jasbir accused Honey Singh of glamorising alcohol and drinking culture, which he claims led to the state's youth being pushed into substance abuse.
Jasbir questioned whether political leaders truly understand Punjab's culture, saying people from Delhi and other metros do not represent the state.
The singer feels Punjab is being exploited and that Honey Singh's past struggles with addiction and provocative songs make him unsuitable to be an ambassador for the state's youth.
