The upcoming adaptation of the epic Ramayana by Nitesh Tiwari has made a grand appearance at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Producer Namit Malhotra and actor-producer Yash showcased the film's first glimpse and interacted with international media in a series of interviews. A select group of attendees, including a YouTuber from Mr Like It Or Not, were treated to 20 minutes of unseen footage from the film.
The creator of the video praised the film's scale and visuals, stating that it has the potential to be both a grand epic and a spectacular fantasy story. They also claimed that Warner Bros has come on board as the international distributor for the film, which will be released on over 4500 screens in November.
The YouTuber also predicted that the film will receive an Oscar nomination, specifically for the International Feature Film category. They praised the narrative and stated that the visual effects will not be an issue. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman.
Ramayana is a two-part film, with Part One releasing in November and the second part in 2027.
