Ranveer Singh's highly anticipated film Dhurandhar has made a significant impact at the box office, grossing over ₹700 crore worldwide in just two weeks. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has steadily climbed the charts, surpassing notable films like Rajinikanth's 2.0 and Salman Khan's Sultan. To reach the top 10 highest-grossing films in India, Dhurandhar needs to earn an additional ₹200 crore. Currently, the top 10 spots are held by Dangal, Pushpa 2: The Rule, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, RRR, KGF Chapter 2, Jawan, Pathaan, Kalki 2898 AD, Bhajrangi Bhaijaan, and Animal, with a combined total of over ₹9,100 crore. Dhurandhar's impressive performance has earned it a spot at #16, surpassing films like Salaar, Sultan, and Gadar 2. However, it still has a long way to go to reach the top 10. With the festive season approaching and the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash this Friday, it remains to be seen how much Dhurandhar accumulates in its lifetime. Directed by Aditya Dhar, and co-produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, Dhurandhar tells the story of a man named Hamza Ali Mazari, who infiltrates a Baloch gang in Pakistan. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in lead roles. A sequel to the film is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
