Ranveer Singh's highly anticipated film Dhurandhar has broken box office records, surpassing ₹850 crore in India within 37 days. Despite being in its sixth week and facing competition from Prabhas' The Raja Saab, Dhurandhar saw a remarkable 69% spike in collections on Saturday, earning ₹6.1 crore compared to ₹3.6 crore on Friday. The spy thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar, has been a commercial success since its release on December 5, 2025. In its first four weeks, Dhurandhar collected ₹784.50 crore, followed by an additional ₹56.35 crore in its fifth week. The film has now collected ₹1,247.50 crore worldwide, solidifying its position as one of India's highest-grossing films. The Raja Saab, released on January 9, managed to collect ₹88.9 crore in India, with ₹9.15 crore from its premieres on Thursday, ₹53.75 crore on Friday, and ₹26 crore on Saturday. Dhurandhar's sequel, Dhurandhar 2, is set to release on March 19, clashing with Geetu Mohandas and Yash's Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups. The success of Dhurandhar has sparked excitement for the upcoming sequel, which is expected to maintain the trend of high box office collections. Dhurandhar is written, directed, and co-produced by Aditya Dhar, with Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya, and Lokesh Dhar producing the film under Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, and others.
