Bollywood's latest controversy revolves around the remix of iconic song Saat Samundar Paar from the 1992 film Vishwatma. The new version, featured in Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday's Tu Meri Main Tera, has faced backlash on social media. However, columnist Shobhaa De has come out in support of the remix, praising the track's energy and Kartik's performance. Shobhaa De took to Instagram to address the criticism, expressing her enthusiasm for the new version. She appreciated Kartik's acting skills and the track's catchy melody. The columnists' comment comes after Anand Bakshi's son, Rakesh Anand Bakshi, raised concerns about the credits given to the new version's lyricist and singer. Rakesh Anand Bakshi pointed out that the producer and publisher should not claim co-lyricist credits for adding a few lines to the original lyrics. He suggested that the streaming platforms' format should be adopted, where original and additional music credits are clearly distinguished. The original song Saat Samundar Paar is a cult classic from the '90s, and its new version has sparked debate among fans and critics. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri is a lighthearted film presented by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures. The movie was released in theatres on December 25, amidst the controversy surrounding the Saat Samundar Paar remix.
