Sooraj Barjatya: Kabir Singh, Prem are two sides of the same coin

It's the era of alpha males on screen, but filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya believes his gentle romantic leads, like Prem, are not much different from Kabir Singh.
Barjatya, known for films like Vivaah and Hum Aapke Hain Koun, thinks the idea of love has not changed much for audiences and his protagonists are representations of the same men.
He says, 'Itna pyaar to kare koi (Someone must love this passionately). If you look at it, whether it is Kabir Singh, Animal, Prem, or the protagonist from Sangamarmar, but itna pyaar to kare.'
Barjatya's new show, Sangamarmar, stars Sourabh Raaj Jain and Sheen Savita Das as a couple whose love grows over 25 years despite them not being married.
