Cinema star Suresh Gopi has urged people to let Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K. Joseph Vijay prove himself before criticising him. Speaking to reporters, he said it would be unfair to judge Vijay before he has a chance to work. Suresh Gopi also welcomed TVK's plans to expand in Kerala, saying that the party should be allowed to operate freely.

Vijay took oath as the 13th Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on May 10, marking a significant shift in the state's politics. The TVK emerged as the single-largest party in the Assembly elections, winning 108 seats and securing support from other parties to form the government.

The party has already established a foothold in Wayanad and Palakkad and has launched its district unit in Thrissur. TVK plans to rapidly expand its presence across Kerala in the coming months.
