Karuppu, starring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, is set to begin its first day first show at 9 AM this Friday. The makers of the film have thanked Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay for granting permission for the early shows.
In a post on their official X account, Dream Warrior Pictures shared a picture of Vijay signing a notice in his office. They expressed their gratitude for the special permission, stating that the 9 AM shows of #Karuppu will begin on May 14th.
This comes after Suriya congratulated Vijay on his grand debut in politics with TVK, which secured a majority in the assembly polls. Vijay has joined the league of iconic actor-turned-leaders like NT Rama Rao, MG Ramachandran, and J Jayalalithaa.
