Actor-politician Vijay skipped his niece's wedding in Goa to participate in a 3km anti-drug awareness run in Chennai on International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The event, Start Run Stop Drugs, saw the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Vijay running 3km with participants. Vijay was spotted wearing a dark T-shirt and track pants, with his security team trying to keep fans at bay.
Meanwhile, Trisha Krishnan attended the wedding of Khushbu Sundar's daughter Avantika in Goa, where she was seen with several other celebrities, including Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna. Vijay had been invited to the wedding, along with PM Narendra Modi and other dignitaries.
Trisha had also wished Vijay on his 52nd birthday, putting an end to speculation about their relationship status.
