Yash Raj Films has hailed Dhurandhar as a 'milestone moment in Indian cinema' after it surpassed Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 to become the highest-grossing Indian film in a single language. The production house praised director Aditya Dhar and Jio Studios for the film's massive success, saying it has set a new benchmark for Indian cinema. In a heartfelt note on Instagram, YRF congratulated the entire team, including Aditya Dhar and the cast, for their outstanding work. The note described Dhurandhar as a film that 'will be remembered forever.' Ranveer Singh, who stars in the spy thriller, reacted to the shoutout, saying he was proud of his alma mater. Dhurandhar has been making waves at the box office, surpassing Pathaan to become the highest-grossing Bollywood film in North America. According to Sacnilk, the film has earned over $17.50 million in the region. The film has also crossed Pushpa 2's Hindi-language mark of ₹821 crore, making it the highest-grossing Indian film in one language. The film, which features Ranveer Singh as an Indian spy, has been a commercial success, earning over ₹781.75 crore in India and crossing the ₹1200 crore mark worldwide. Its sequel is set to release in March this year. Dhurandhar's success has been a result of its gripping storyline, which weaves in several real-life events involving geopolitical tensions.
