A Brooklyn man, Nicholas Scelfo, has been arrested after making threats against an ICE agent and his family during a protest at Delaney Hall in Newark.

The arrest was made within 24 hours of identifying the suspect, thanks to a video captured by independent journalist Nick Sortor and facial recognition technology used by the FBI.

FBI Director Kash Patel shared the news on X, praising the efforts of the FBI Newark team and Acting AG Todd Blanche for their swift action.

Scelfo was seen making the threats on the evening of May 28, pointing directly at ICE agents and saying, 'Your children, your wife, all dead. I have your face, motherf***er. You're dead. Dead.'
