A Cincinnati teacher, Corinne Baum, is facing backlash for her reaction to the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting, where she expressed frustration that President Donald Trump wasn't killed in the incident.

Baum, a teacher at The Children's House in Cincinnati, made the comment in a video, saying 'Man, there's been a few creators on here saying that like Friday or yesterday could have been the day and then I wake up to that news but not that news.'

Netizens blasted Baum in the comment section, calling for her to be fired and raising concerns about her mental health and suitability to teach children.

The incident occurred on Saturday night, when gunshots broke out at the Washington Hilton during the White House Correspondents' Dinner, prompting the evacuation of Donald Trump and other government officials.

Shooting suspect Cole Tomas Allen, 31, faces charges of using a firearm during a crime of violence and assault on an officer.
