Convicted Beautician Faces 7 Years for Kim Kardashian Lookalike's Fatal Procedure

A California jury has found 53-year-old beautician Vivian Alexandra Gomez guilty of felony involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of model Christina Ashten Gourkani.
Gourkani, 34, a Kim Kardashian lookalike, died in April 2023 after undergoing an illegal cosmetic procedure, a gluteal silicone injection, in a Bay Area hotel room.
Gomez, an unlicensed cosmetologist, administered multiple silicone injections despite not being licensed to perform medical procedures.
Following her conviction, Gomez faces up to seven years in prison and is scheduled to be sentenced on May 5.
