A drone struck near Dubai International Airport early Monday morning, igniting a massive fire.
The Dubai Media Office confirmed a 'drone incident' led to a fire in the vicinity of the airport.
It's unclear if any civilian areas were hit, but all necessary safety measures are being taken.
The incident damaged one of the fuel tanks, and multiple flights are being diverted amid the incident.
At least five flights from Karachi, Kathmandu, Hanoi, Asmara, and Amman are currently being held off at the airport.
