The two-week truce between the US and Iran has largely paused attacks in the Middle East, but Israel continues to pound Lebanon, carrying out deadlier strikes near Beirut neighbourhoods.

Israel's attacks have killed 89 people and wounded 700 others, with over 1,500 people killed in the conflict since March 2.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the ceasefire does not apply to Lebanon, and military operations against Hezbollah will continue.

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed Israeli 'violations of the ceasefire in Iran and Lebanon' in a phone call with Pakistani army chief General Asim Munir.

Over 1.2 million people have been displaced in the conflict, with more than 400 Hezbollah fighters killed and 10 Israeli soldiers killed in southern Lebanon.
