Jamaat-e-Islami chief Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has slammed the PPP government in Sindh for failing to address Karachi's chronic water shortage, despite nearly two decades in power.

Speaking to journalists on Eid, Hafiz Naeem highlighted the worsening water crisis, stating that thousands of citizens are struggling to access necessities during the Eid holidays.

He accused the provincial authorities of mismanagement, claiming that public funds are not being utilised effectively, and questioned why Karachi's water issues remain unresolved.

The water crisis has intensified across Karachi, with nearly 70% of the metropolis experiencing prolonged disruptions in water supply.
