Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said the task force investigating Nancy Guthrie's disappearance is making progress nearly 100 days after she vanished from her home in the Catalina Foothills.

Nanos described the developments as 'really great' but declined to provide further details.

A private forensic laboratory in Florida sent a hair sample to the FBI for analysis, which could potentially guide the task force towards identifying a suspect.

Nancy's neighbors have placed signs outside her home, including one that reads, 'Your mom would be ashamed if she knew what you did. So before you take her flowers on Mother's Day, TAKE NANCY HOME, or tell the family where she is…'

The FBI has obtained Nest doorbell footage showing a masked man carrying a holstered firearm at Nancy's front steps around the time of her kidnapping.

Despite the efforts, no suspect has been identified in the case, and a total reward exceeding $1.2 million is being offered for information leading to its resolution.
